Episode 297: Summer Showcase Solo - Mental Photoshopping

Are you ready for my Summer Solocast Series? I am doing some quick solocasts to get you juiced up, infused with encouragement and inspiration. I want you to go about your summer loving your life and making things better.

Mental photoshopping. Wondering what that term could possibly mean? My coach, Susan Hyatt, shared with us a story about one of her clients who was constantly mentally photoshopping herself and her life.

Have you ever thought to yourself, “I wish I was better at [insert basically anything],” and then followed that statement with, “I should be better at [insert that same thing.]”? You are by no means the only one.

But mentally photoshopping is exhausting. It is a sure way to keep yourself from achieving your dreams. Why? Because you’re constantly in a cycle of thinking about the things you should be better at rather than leaning into the things you are already amazing at.

Listen in to learn how you can get out of this negative cycle of comparisonitis and start loving your life and business again.
