Are you waiting for someone else to tell you’re an expert? STOP! You’ve gone to medical school. You’re a practicing physician. You’re an expert in your field no matter what that field is. Stop waiting for someone else to empower you and realize that the key to empowerment is within yourself.

That being said, we’ve all been there. We let our jobs and our roles define us, but we have to stop. Dr. Kelly Casperson joins me to chat about empowerment and pleasure and how the two are extremely interconnected.

Dr. Casperson is a urologist who is dedicated to educating women about their pelvic health. She’s also a surgeon, speaker, educator, entrepreneur, and podcaster! On her podcast You Are Not Broken, she digs into all things sex, pleasure, and empowerment.

Listen as she shares more about her story and how she became an entrepreneur. She’s also sharing her thoughts on sex and why all forms of play need to be considered in the larger conversation. Last but not least, do you know why women have sex? She’s sharing that too and why we need to shift our perspective on sex and its importance in our lives.
